Electrostatics

Electrostatic experiments to learn what electricity consists of. We will first start doing experiments that seem like magic and we will see what physical phenomena occur to understand them and learn from them. Here you can collect materials  that were provided by ROCTAR team. 

Electronics

Learn about resistance, current and voltage, their relationship (Ohm’s law) and finally make your first circuits. You will be able to continue at home and establish knowledge by doing more experiments guided by our educational web platform.

Writing

What do our favorite stories have in common? Learn to craft your own story using the tools your favorite writers use.

Gymkhana STEM

Combination of physical exercise and teamwork, thus using our whole body to compete and helping the team to win.

Escape room

A series of tests on science and ingenuity to escape out to nature brought to you by FIO. Or will you be stuck for the rest of the time? 

Botanic

Learn how to dry and press leaves to start your own collection, and learn about the different types of leaves.

Chemistry

Various eye-catching chemistry experiments that look like magic. We will start doing experiments and we will see what physical phenomena occur to understand them and learn from them.

Observation

Learn how to use binoculars and spotting scopes. Observe nature (birds, animals) or surroundings (cars, people). 

Microscopy

Learn how to use a microscope, how to focus and choose the right regime of lenses and light. Observe cells or your own bacterias from saliva. 

Fossils

Get into Paleontology, try to excavate dinosaur fossils. With this workshop you will learn about the differences between Archeology, Paleontology and different types of dinosaurs. 

Vertical garden

Learn about gardening, distinguishing the characteristics of plants. Use your creativity on how to combine the plants to get a marvelous picture of both flowers and plants.
